Heart Light of the Forest Gathering
Join me for an incredible experience of guided relaxation and meditation under Big Pine Tree in Surry. I'll guide everyone to invite silence and light into their hearts. The intention of the practice is to heal ourselves so that we may connect together and bring love and light to the entire planet. I'll be playing the crystal healing bowls and serving tea with homemade snacks afterwards. There will be chanting, silent walking meditation, guided heart centering, and healing from trees. The location is a 15-minute walk along a gentle trail. It's $50 per person.. The dates for this for 2023 are once a month on Sundays June 25, July 16, August 27, and September 24. Space is limited to 10 people. Sign up ahead of time.
Yoga in the Forest
Martina has been teaching yoga since 2002 and is a certified 500 hour instructor in the Sivananda tradition. Her classes have an emphasis on spiritual connection and development. Come join this healing practice that includes sun salutations, attention to the breath, poses for stretching, and time for deep relaxation. Each of her classes is unique and is taught according to the needs of the participants.
Join YOGA UNDER THE BIG PINE TREE every Thursday from 8-9:30. We'll walk 15 minutes silently to the special place under the pine tree, do yoga for 60 minutes, then walk back. It's $25 per person. Nature Sitting of Downeast Maine
Join others on the 2nd Sunday of each month to sit in the forest in silence. All people are welcome (even quiet children). During the time people can meditate, rest, write, draw, or simply watch the beauty of nature. This group is part of the Wild Church Network. There is no religious affiliation. It's a place where people can come together to connect with earth in any way.
Monthly Trail Work
Each month we are pleased to invite anyone that would like to get their hands dirty and help create the forest therapy trail. We are making special areas for people to sit near moss, ferns, large trees, and rocks. Special projects may include building a labyrinth, making a self-guided forest bathing trail, or creating camping spots. Work for all skills is needed including: raking, pruning, moving branches, and digging. We meet on the 2nd Thursday for each month from 3-5 pm. Bring your own tools if you have them.
