What is Oneness?
Oneness is an ancient Chinese standing practice rooted in the traditional martial arts and Taoist practices. Passed down through generations, the practice uses a natural, aligned standing posture to cultivate stillness, relaxation, and a deeper connection with the present moment. Rather than relying on physical exertion or mental effort, Oneness invites the body to settle, the mind to quiet, and a sense of peace to emerge naturally.

Mission
LD Chen
I learned this practice from LD Chen, a fourth-generation teacher in his lineage. After experiencing profound personal healing through Oneness and overcoming a number of health challenges, LD became inspired to share the practice in the West so that others could explore its potential benefits for themselves.
He has written 3 books on the practice, and has a digital course on his website.

Vision
My Experience with Oneness
I discovered Oneness when I came across LD Chen's book on Kindle. I immediately felt a resonance with the practice. For the previous three to four years, I had been exploring silence and emptiness, discovering how much I appreciated the spaciousness of a mind without thoughts.
When I stood in Oneness for the first time, something about it felt like pure truth. My body naturally relaxed into the earth, and the pressure I had carried to constantly try, do, and accomplish began to melt away. I experienced a deep sense of peace and acceptance of the present moment.
The changes I experienced over time were remarkable. During my first three months of practicing just five minutes a day, I slept through the night consistently. This was especially meaningful after fourteen years of frequent nighttime awakenings.
After seven months of practice, I also began noticing physical changes. My core and legs felt stronger, my posture became more naturally aligned, and the neck tension and headaches I had experienced disappeared.
My experience has deepened my appreciation for the simplicity of this practice and the possibility of finding profound peace without having to strive for it.

Sharing the Practice
Through my practice, I've developed a connection with LD Chen, the author of the Oneness books, and have become increasingly inspired to share this approach with others. I believe in the possibility of healing, greater ease in the body, and a deeper connection with the peace that is already within us. My intention in sharing Oneness is to create a welcoming space where others can explore the practice, experience stillness, and discover what becomes possible when we allow ourselves simply to be.
