The Lost Ladybug

Be filled with wonder while you connect with the tiny animals in our backyards.  Feel proud that you have contributed to real science as we submit our findings to entomologists at Cornell University. You and your family will learn about the biology of ladybugs, read a story about them, sing a song, and even eat ladybug themed snacks. This event will be on Fisher Farm, an organic vegetable farm in Winterport, Maine. This is the perfect place to be a "ladybug detective" and find the "lost ladybug." Kids ages 5 and under are free. Tickets for everyone else are $15 each. This class is specially disgned for grades 1-6, although all ages would appreciate it too! Martina Dittmar, a naturalist and Master Gardener is guiding the program.
